I have to admit to having had a completely wrong idea about Remembrance Day when I was a teenager. I am very anti-war and thought that the whole thing glorified killing. It wasn't until I was quite a lot older that I realised that it has actually very little to do with the fighting and more to do with the individual people who never came home.

I do think that sometimes the things get muddled. I'd just like to get rid of governments and "those in charge" now.

A rememberance day is supposed to be I think to remind people of the high cost of war......and one life is a cost to high.
