This morning the amazon had escaped his cage but he was easy enough to get back in as it was breakfast time and he does like his food.
Toots is very demanding but also very entertaining and she does love her cuddles. She now says hello and cookoo, although not as well as the other african grey. The other is a very good talker. I find myself answering him as you would a child when he says things like "whats that?"
They sound like lots of fun Elaine, at least thy will talk to you

Re: Black and blue

I tried to use the video on the phone but as soon as you try, he shuts up . He's the same when I am talking on the phone, he starts talking away but as soon as i stop to let the other person on the phone hear him, again he shuts up
He also had me by the hair this morning

As for the van I havent had a chance to get into Aberdeen and fill out my insurance forms yet, will do that tomorrow. My electric windows have packed in too
Last night I had a dream that it rolled into a lake

Re: Black and blue

Then it will definitely NOT happen.

Can I ask maybe an impertinent question - when you're house-sitting and not involved in caring for the animals or birds - what do you do with yourself???

Re: Black and blue

I watch tv or read a book but never quite feel relaxed, I guess thats coz you are in some one elses space. It's really quite tiring, I always feel like I could sleep for a week when I get home.
