Re: Turkey anybody :)

Haven't had turkey at all this xmas. We were veggie on xmas day and had a wonderful 7lb rib of beef yesterday when I hosted the family. Yummy! Cold beef, salad and jacket pots today, stir fry tomorrow and anything left after that will be frozen sliced in gravy in individual portions for days when my OH is away.

We had a capon for xmas dinner and it's all gone now. Having roast pork on New years day I think.

I had a chicken; all gone except the leg meat (don't like dark meat and while the former cats ate that, Leia doesn't). so the carcass is in the freezer to make soup stock later. Having ham New Years... traditional.

Re: Turkey anybody :)

No turkey for me either! The remains of the Christmas Day beef is still in the fridge waiting for OH to do something with it (we'll be waiting a while then) and the marinated/cooked salmon I did for Boxing Day was finished off on Sunday night.
