Re: My dogs (including Dusty for Moli!)

Lovely pictures random - I had to go back to your first photo to spot that little Dusty girlie! They all have their best expressions on, don't they? We're all being good for the camera mummy!

Thank you, a lot of people say that when they find out I have 4 and the 6 cats too but to be honest they are no trouble at all really, the biggest effort is cleaning up after them all. My Weimaraner was a bit of a problem child, she was attacked by a stray when she was a pup and consequently is now fearful of dogs she doesn't know (but as you can see she loves the dogs she does know and she's fine once she gets to know them) but aside from that they are good really, most of the time. Plus I work from home most of the time so that makes it a lot easier I guess.

Thank you!
If i'm on my own I usually do 2 at a time unless i'm not letting them offlead. If just staying onlead I can do all of them together (or if i'm with another set of eyes), they walk nicely on the lead, infact, they walk nicer as a pack than they do on their own, but it is more difficult watching all 4 of them all offlead sniffing about in different places. I like my gundogs (and the 2 crosses of gundogs of course!) as they are better at recall and I expect the pup will be too with being half lab, she has a lot of labby instincts, but Dusty the wee hound, if she gets scent of something you need eyes in the back of your head!

I can imagine Dusty bum up, head down and off she goes, and being so small could disappear quite easily in long grass....

She really does, and it doesn't even have to be that long!
