Sorry to be hearing this news Tanya, I agree with what the others have said I think you need to go back to your vets and ask some serious questions and if you are not happy with the answers don`t hesitate to go and see a different vet. I do so hope he starts to feel better soon (HUGS) X. |

The fact that his pooping has got worse since the vet gave you tablets, makes me suspect they could be making the diarrhoea worse. For example Antirobe is a fantastic antibiotic, but lots of cats stomachs get upset with it... The danger with diarrhoea is the cat can become very dehydrated, so add water to a soft food to help prevent this happening. Ask the vet to change tablets/ antibiotics to another one... This could help LOADS!!!! The murmer I won't go into, as the above ladies before me, have given good advice already on that. Good luck and sending love and healing kisses to Oli x |

Hi everyone .... and thanks for your replies. I took Oli to the vets again this morning ... for his heart to be checked. He seems to have more energy and his poo is beginning to look like poo rather than a watery mess. He is still rather quiet tho .... As for his heart, she said he has a bad murmur and its a GRADE 4. So long as he doesnt do too much strenuous exercise and doesnt begin to cough or seem ill he should be ok. He is still on tablets for his pooping and his infection and we just have to keep an eye on him. |
