Don't I wish for that Kazz??? She'll not go - she won't even go to day care once a week. Of course, we can't make her go .........................

Re: Friendship Friday

Sorry to hear of your loss, Liz

I am still nursing the ferrets hopefully back to health and all that comes with it. The housework has gone to heck but oh well. And I'm starting to cough a bit too.
There's a Halloween party tonight but I don't know if I can manage it or not..still debating.

Re: Friendship Friday

Been working today, got home, had lunch, spent time with Dylan, cooked dinner, washed up, came onto Catsey. That's been the grand total of today for me

Liz I'm sorry to hear about Kindly

Tink hope the ferrets are better soon.

Re: Friendship Friday

Just a follow up on the art club exhibition that OH had entered. We went along to see the display this evening at the members only preview and OH has a red sticker on one of his pictures! He's thrilled to bits of course, and one of his unframed pieces had also been sold. I think what has thrilled him most is that the public days are tomorrow and Sunday so his pieces must have been sold to a fellow exhibitor or one of their guests!

Can you tell I'm proud of him? His first sale!!!

Mrs H - brilliant news . . . nothing like the sale of one's laboured-over artwork to boost confidence. Well done your OH!!

Liz - I'm so very sorry to read about Kindly. A much-loved friend has left you and understandably a huge hole remains. Love and hugs.

Re: Friendship Friday

Sorry to hear about Kindly.

It has been a busy day here, Pippin was very stiff/ lame yesterday, and as you can imagine I panicked. I phoned the blacksmith, who said he would come today, but to keep him in. The blacksmith has taken off his shoes and thinks he has a stiffness in his legs, rather than a problem with his feet- I was so worried it was something like laminitis. We have to watch him over the weekend, do some more physio and start on a joint suppliment. If no better by Monday, get the vet out. He's been doing so well, it's such a pity, but at least it isn't his feet, which would be the worst news in the world.
Otherwise it has been a pretty positive couple of day- it looks like Mike still has a job and we can actually look forward to Christmas and somebody wants to do a fund raiser for us- we are so chuffed.
