Re: Melting Monday

It was a thigh bone of (probably) a rabbit judging by the size. It had been dead a while, the bone didn't look fresh and then we heard a crow cawing as he flew away! Got a bit of a shock when it popped out onto the hearth

Re: Melting Monday

How bizarre MrsH! Never would've guessed that! Hope we nevr have anything like that fall down our chimney, so far we've only had Imogen come back down after exploring up there!
Had a very stressful day today, first the boiler had gone on strike this morning so no hot water or heating, then I fell down the cellar steps while trying to reset the boiler (nice shiner of a bruise on my arm from that!)
Got to work to find a lovely young dog who'd slipped his collar and been involved in an RTA, very sadly he didn't make it Then we had to help another 8 animals over the bridge during the day
Not one of my better days! Fingers crossed for a better one tomorrow! (boiler is back on now too)
Lx
