Re: How did your cat(s)...

my boy monty had been hit by a car. i was devastated. he was a lovley ginger full of mischeif. and very much a mummys boy. no-one got a look in edgeways. he was killed on the 12th feb. then on the 14th of feb. the lady in our shop sais her cat had given birth to 8 kittens. i didnt want 1 was so upset about monty. and then about 68 weeks later i started to get broody.(kittnen broody) i was told there was still 2 kittens left. so after talking charlie around we went to see them. was only going to get JUST THE 1 yea ok lol saw the pair of them playing on the stairs. their dad was just looking at them, he was a big long haired black boy. mum was a british blue x persian. kep looking at these 2 bundles and thinking what 1??? and couldnt do it. took them both home. couldnt seperate them. when they where little they where exact twins.ronnie had little bat wing ears.but only if u looked close enough.
and that was 8 yrs ago now. and they are still a pair of terrors causing mayhem and chaos. ronnies the rucker. reggies the mummys boy. i like to think that they are aa bit of monty in their ways.
love talking about my boys.

Re: How did your cat(s)...

Beauty was a nervous elderly girl in our local rescue. I'd gone in to become a volunteer and walked round looking at the cats and kittens, somehow Beauty chose me in her sleep and stole my heart so back she came with me.

When Beauty was nearing the end of her life (she was PTS in the end because of how ill she was and how much pain she was in ) Dylan chose me the very same day he first saw me so after Beauty left us, Dylan came home with us and here he's staying

Beauty was between 10 and 14 (we think) and Dylan was 3 when he came home with us

All the cats that I have owned myself (as in properly mine) have comes from the local branch of the Cats Protection, where I volunteer.

Re: How did your cat(s)...

I moved house in 1995, I lived on my own and friends told me I needed a cat..I said no thanks, anyway a few weeks later they brought Millie a beautiful Torty kitten with a beautiful bushy tail , how coiuld I say no..about 6 months later as I was thinking of having her " done " she was going to have kittens . one was a ginger and white he grew up to be a big loving boy " Sandie " about 9 years old he came home covered in oil. through this he developed carcagenike ( if I have spelt it riight ) cancer..Millie lived until June this year..for some time I have had a cat coming in on a night for food . a couple of months before Millie passed away this black and white cat on a cold Febury night came in and introduced himself. he was cold starving and a litle thin. Millie did not seem at all phased .so Tommy stayed. he has now grown into a overwight beautifull boy. I also have staying with me nextdoors cat as they are out all the time and dont seem to bother with it very much..
