Probably something like that Kazz, unfortunately no-one saw that bit! She might have chased it - she loves running after the birds.

Re: Super Saturday...

I wonder if the tail caught her attention then realised it became attatched to a bird...as big as she was....but saying that cats have no fear....when hunting a bird is a bird....

Re: Super Saturday...

The day started off nice but has ended not so nice. Boys and I had a lovely day at the allotment; so pleasant (and busy) that I have sunburn on my shoulders . . . and I tan at the drop of a hat so the sun must be stronger than it looks

Got a text message from OH towards the end of the afternoon to let me know about the tragic plane crash that wiped out a lot of the senior Polish govt. Aparently he'd spoken to my Mum shortly after he found out and she told him that the Polish priest who laid my Aunt to rest in our Hammersmith church just few weeks ago also perished in the crash. He was a very sweet man.

I'm kind of a bit shell-shocked, especially as they were all heading to a commemoration of the Katyn massacres; very cruel twist of fate

Re: Super Saturday...

I am sorry Yola - I did think about you when I heard the news this morning, not knowing the connection of course. A tragic day.

I wondered the same thing Kazz. I think it's the case that our Royal family don't travel together, ie Charles and William, or The Queen and Charles.
