Bit of an "aside" here, but directly related to Posh's safe return home ............... OH went to play golf late afternoon on Thursday after we'd been out. I logged on to Catsey and found that Posh was safe home and texted OH to let him know as he'd also been wishing for her return. I tried twice and both times the message failed. I was sad that he'd have to wait until he got home to hear the good news but also concerned as to why my text didn't reach him - we neither of us use mobile phones regularly, but had left OH's number for MIL's carer on the day we go out in case of emergency. When OH came home, he was so pleased to hear the news and when he came to check the note he'd written for the carer, he found he'd written the number down wrongly. So, thanks Posh, because you are safely home MIL's carer now has the right phone number for emergency call!!! (So relieved it was OH who wrote the number down!) |

M'lady has settled back in to life at our house. Got all the fuss of a homecoming yesterday when the family descended for rugby and BBQ. Got fed a bit too much I think coz this morning I had an 'accident' on the carpet to clean up. Glad the phone number has been put right, Angie, I do that all the time with the long mobile numbers, usually just one digit left out or I duplicate a digit... they're a pain! |
