Re: Thursday daily

Talking of scooping poop (Dog, that is ) I also feel annoyed at people who don't clean up after their Dogs, there's no excuse. I also get annoyed at messy humans who break glass all over the place and drop cigarette buts etc, putting us and our pets in danger.

Re: Thursday daily

I may have done a wrong thing, but as the B&W cat that has been visiting has let me get close enough to him to stroke him and I found out how thin he is - I've fed him last night and tonight. He is so nervous and won't go near the food until I have left it. Poor boy. It's going to be very wet here tonight if the rain comes in as forecast but at least he'll have a full tum. He's not feral, may be a stray or his owner doesn't care for him.

Any advice welcome.

Angie - I'm too soft to be rational - I'd feed him, make a wee shelter, try and add a collar with a message etc and then probably vet and health check.

Sorry I am in total agreement but I would also try and get a picture and put some posters up......and contact vets and CP Lost Found section in the vets etc. Given Posh's recent "holiday"

I'd make sure he has food and then see where it goes as its kitten season CP will be over run with kittens and Mom;s and reasonably healthy allbeit thin Tom's are low priority but make them aware.

But I would feed him and ask around.

But seems like you may be a three cat family sooner than you think.

Re: Thursday daily

I would have fed him too: I did when Misty was lost and hungry even though I knew it wasn't a good idea... as you know I never found an owner and she was with me for almost 20 years. Onyx was like that when Carolyn first started looking after her, she was so terrified of people she wouldn't come near the food although she was so hungry till Carolyn left. He sounds like a gentle boy, Angie. Follow your heart .....

Re: Thursday daily

Hi guys.
Well Kevin has some heavy things in the bed of his truck that he picked up on his little adventure yesterday. He's on a local fish forum and some of the members will be stopping by our house tonight to help lift a monstrous fish tank. It's much appreciated because of K's physical problems..hmm wonder if we should supply pizza and beer for these fellows? I'm afraid I'm not a natural hostess
