Re: Tiger & Snowpuss

Poor little Snowpuss - her previous people obviously didn't care enough about her.

Probably a wrong idea, but could her food stealing have anything to do with the loss of her kittens?

She is very pretty and I love the picture of her curled with her tail over her nose.

Hi Angie.. I wouldnt say so as she was a thief before the kittens arrived. Its just more often and noticable now as she is in most of the time. I did give her some cooked chicken too and that just gave her the runs so ive stuck to the dried. She hears the fridge open or a rustling in the kitchen and she's there. I have to throw stuff in the bin when she isnt looking or she'll crash in after it and run off growling with it lol.

Poor girl, sorry about the loss of her kittens. Have you tried her on wet food; I'm quite reluctant to feed dried because of the possibility of cystitis; had a problem with Leia with it. She's a beautiful girl.

Re: Tiger & Snowpuss

She didnt do well on wet. Her dried is formulated for healthy urinary tract so im hoping im doing ok.

Ive been on a Bengal forum and it seems they are thieves as a breed... there's hundreds of people posted about what there's has swiped and some mention this weird greediness too. My old boss bred Bengals for ages and I must speak with her now shes back of hols and maybe she'll have some clues.

Re: Tiger & Snowpuss

That's interesting Cassie - I have no experience of Bengals as a breed. Do let us know if there's a remedy to their thievery! Sounds a bit like Ali Baba!!!
