I miss the smell of burning leaves from my childhood; before the air pollution regulations prevented bonfires.  |

i grew up in CA in urban areas so i never experienced bonfires until i moved here..except on special regulated occasions at the beach. been here four and a half years and it's still a novel idea to me but i'm getting used to it. one year k burnt a whole pile of sumac he cut down and the smoke was pure white. |
