Re: Frosty Friday

Morning, all
Today we go to the pumpkin patch..yipeee!
It is only in the 50s today but nice and bright and only 20% chance of rain so fingers crossed it will not rain on us..if it does, we'll just have to go inside their cafe for some pie, I guess
Solomon is an absolute lovebug in the mornings. Goodness, I love this boy. Last week, I ordered my fave books from Tovey that have Solomon in the storyline (my library stopped carrying just Those Books so I got my own!!) so I can't wait for them to show up so I can cuddle up with my sweet Solomon and read about his namesake
I ordered a SturdiShelter and it arrived yesterday. It's something I've wanted for the cats in case of emergency/evacuation it's a comfortable way for all three of them to travel. Of course the cats did not want to pose with it but the ferrets did while I had my camera out
Think I will look for a large pumpkin today in case Sir Solomon feels the need to investigate it after carving, lol.
I'll have to bring the camera to the pumpkin patch!
Have a good one, all

Shelley you cannot live in what might of been you did the right thing for your circumstances and Malaika's well being.

I don't remember why did her owners let her go?

Sounds like a spiral thats going downwards at the moment Angie, from my limited experience of people with dementia its hard hard work and I take my hat off too you.

The reason given was the lady had asthma, but we think probs a Basenji was just too much, they are not the dog for everyone.

Re: Frosty Friday

I am really looking forward to the pumpkin patch pictures!

Can I ask our nice American cousins to post any pumpkin recipes in the recipes section? Our local farm shop has loads of pumpkins for sale. I am a fan of pumpkin seed with my breakfast cereal, but fancy pumpkin pie or pumpkin risotto or pumpkin soup recipes .................... be great, thanks!
