Re: Finally Friday

Here's some info about the place if anyone is interested, and a pic. I have a unit with the double window.

Re: Finally Friday

Hi all - catching up here rather late. I had a dental appointment this morning - just a check up and all well. OH kindly took me into Chichester as it was beginning to rain and the car park is a bit of a walk from the dentist's. We came home, got our waterproofs and took Monty for a longish walk, mostly off lead, so he was a happy puppy. He did actually get rather wet, but we were surprised that it didn't start really bucketing down until we got back to the car, eased off for us to get indoors and has poured constantly every since.

Have a good holiday Mr and MrsH and Morgan - do hope you get some dry days.

Well done completing your first week in your new job Pamela - I always think that the first couple of weeks in a new position are the worst, but routines set in again and things get easier.

Don't go hurting yourself Eileen - I'm sure you'll get a telling off from Chris!

My dear Pip is 2 today, and I've already posted his birthday thread. He has had extra Dreamies today in celebration.

Enjoy your weekend, everyone.

From my window, the garden; lucked out, the others available had views of 42nd Street or Butterworth Place. From the roof deck, panoramic views of Washington and near by Maryland; will be great for watching the fireworks on the 4th!!

Eileen, that looks great. There is even a library there and computers. It's good that shops and services are nearby but also nice that activities happen within the building for people that want that.
I hope you won't be too busy for us

Hi all, hope you had a good day, weather wise very bad here but having to 'man up' and take it

Eileen, great news about the apartment, will look at the pics later. Hope you have a great holiday, MrsH. Angie give Pip a birthday tickle for me

Still coming down from my Take That cloud, wonderful show, and contrary to reports in the Sun, we're not all boozed up 40 year old teenage wannabes, I was quite sober. Besides, didn't want to miss a bit of it all by queuing for hours for the loo!

LOL, not gonna happen, Shelley; this is my home away from home. I'm basically not a joiner or community activity type person. Nice to know the activities are available, doubt if I'll make much use of them.
