Re: monday

Oh, I wrote a big post in yesterday's daily-didn't realise it wasn't there!
Well, I was home early on Friday so decided it would be nice to take Erin and Darcy out for a walk. I popped Erin into the sling on my back and off we went to the playing field down the road. We were having a great time, Erin slapping me on the head and making horsey noises and Darcy chasing birds, until...........I stuck my left foot down a rabbit hole (or similar) and twisted/sprained my ankle
First thing I did was check Erin was ok, she thought it was hilarious and promptly wiggled out of the straps of the sling and was off! No shoes on, squelching through the mud
I was in agony, one lovely lady called her dog over and left, but I managed to round up dog and baby and get her back into the carrier but on my front.
Of course I didn't have my phone, and it's a good 10 min walk back home but a nice man let me borrow his mobile. I tried ringing home but no answer so ended up having to ring work to be rescued!
Anyways, long story short I have a big swollen ankle, nicely black and blue, I had an x-ray on Saturday and no fractures (thank god!) but will need to use the crutches for a few days, until I can put weight on it again.

Re: monday

Sounds horrible PL- glad you got rescued and are OK.

OH is back for a few days, he is OK, a bit subdued and sad. As his Dad was having treatment when he died the coroner needs to sign a certificate rather than just a doctor so that will slow things down. Tolly is very glad to have 'his' human back and is getting a little spoiled but who cares?

A quiet work day today, thankfully not travelling a lot for the next couple of weeks.
