I know what you mean, they do not look as if they have anything worng. My vets says that because they were so very young when they caught it, that they are used to their problems. The black spotted (Ninja) has a damaged eye, it is smaller and sometimes when he looks straight on at you it looks crossed and his eye sight is limited. He has nasal damage, sounds like he is snoring most of the time, he also weezes alot. Ninja has always been the strongest, yet he suffers the most....Although as you can see he is the boldest. The brown spotted (Oozie) got off lightly, his only real problems are a runny eye and dirty nose, every now and then, although it does bother him. As they were so very ill, they lost over half of their body weight and had to stay in intensive care at the vets to be looked after and fed. They will probably never grow to their full size. I agree get them done every year, without fail. IF you buy a kitten from a breeder make sure that they have had this done before you get them. My boys were already sneezing occasionally when I got them, although they looked very healthy but they went down hill very very quickly - They were only 10 weeks old. |

Thanks Guys. Oozie is named after a machine gun, this is because of the sound he makes when he runs. Ninja is because he is very patient, quiet, and brave after the Ninja Warriors. I know they will have a better life here with our very large family lol. |
