Hey I am a happy soul - christmas carols and merry christmas's called to everyone I meet.
Then there is a santa hat.
Halloween I decorate the house and have loads of goodies, here ready to give out. Plus some "set aside chocolate and other goodies for the three children (different families) who cannot have "regular goodies.
Annalise 7 who is diabetic, Jack 9 who is allergic to nuts and last but not least Daniel 11 who is intolerant of dairy products.
I like to make sure they do not feel left out as there parents only take them trick or treating to my house and then close family I have come to be a "extra stopping point" it started about 4 years ago when Daniel did not come down the path when his friends and sisters did and said he could not get "treats" from other people - so the year after I checked with his parents and got some he could have
and then I gained Annalise and then Jack (last year)
I think this year I am getting a visit from Luke 8 who moved here a couple of years ago has a bowel disorder along with other things I think spoke briefly to his Mom and she will do me a goodie parcel which I will put in a goodie bag.
He is apparently already over the moon at being able to go trick or treating - so I may have a word with a Daniels mom and get her to have a goodie bag for him too. Then Luke can go to two houses.
I give their parents a couple of quid each (after a fight they never want to take the money) but I say I am doing the giving not them and if they don't take the money I won't do the trick or treating (sneaky eh)
.
and that normaly wins the battle.
Then they can join in trick or treating with the others. Good eh better than been left out I think
