Re: Very worried about Teddy

Thanks guys. only prob is I cant buy it over the internet. I'll go into my vet s again tomorrow and see if I can get another tube. My worry about going to another vets is that they'll want to run all the tests and try all the things we've already done with her, and I just can't afford it. This was one of the reasons I was hoping she'd be well enough to pass a PDSA check up. Oh, and the vet tested for salmonella 'cause he thought that at the beginning too.

Re: Very worried about Teddy

I personally think it would be worth repeating the faeces sample as I know my vet told me that Giardia can be difficult to detect and sometimes you have to send more than one sample.

Pm your address Alex. I have a new tube of Promax here that I would be willing to send you free of charge

Re: Very worried about Teddy

Now that's strange, because my vet has never said that to me. I'm really beginning to wonder about these people. They were a new practice which opened here not too long ago, and it's a lovely new facility, state of the art and all that, but I'm thinking the vet doesn't have a clue! I have asked a few friends of mine about their vets and TBH not one of them has had a good thing to say about most of the practices in Telford. I just wish there was a PDSA hospital here.

Sorry to hear that your vets don't seem to be very helpful Alex, I wish you lived a bit closer as I would recommend my vets, who I think are the best I have ever found.
