Re: Healing Vibes needed for Eva...

It is a horrible decision to have to make. If you think that her chances of recovery are not good, even with the specialist, then for her sake you have to be very very brave. If you think that she does have a chance to get better then I know you'll continue to fight for her. It's difficult to know which of your instincts to trust when you are so close. Whatever you decide, you know that your Catsey friends are with you. (((((HUGS)))))

Re: Healing Vibes needed for Eva...

Sorry to read this Elaine. but if it was me I would certainly be given her a chance?? What happened to my cat Lucy - with all of her treatment, if I had to do it again then I would even if it was only a 1% chance that she would get better.

But the choice is yours, whatever you do WILL be the right choice.

Re: Healing Vibes needed for Eva...

From those of us who post and those who don't, I know that there is overwhelming support in the forum for you. Whatever you decide, the decision will be based on love.

People have often said to me that they couldn't do my job (working with sick & disabled children), but I really do not think I could be a vet. Being a cat carer is traumatic enough.

I really wish we could weave all the love & care that is expressed in the posts for this thread and send it over as a magic blanket for Eva, but at least you can tell her that it is real and we are all here for you.

I am so sorry Elaine. Last time I saw this thread I thought she was on the mend... I am so sorry she is still so poorly. Whatever you decide, it will be the right choice.

Sending hugs to you and Eva xxx

Re: Healing Vibes needed for Eva...

I am taking her down to Edinburgh first thing tomorrow morning to have an MRI scan to see exactly what is going on. She is very very poorly and I am panicking like hell about the journey but I need to give her a chance at survival. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers, we are going to need them.

Elaine, all the love, luck, prayers and hugs in the world for you and Eva tomorrow.

Is G going down with you too? It would be good to have someone else along.
