So that a 'lightning ball' didn't come in the window, hit the mirror and get bounced around the house, setting fire to everything and everyone in its track |

My mum used to shut all the (metal) windows, turn all the appliance off AND unplug them and turn all the lights off too . . . 'incase the power attracted the lightening ' Having said that, our TV did turn itself off yesterday with there was a particularly nasty flash of lightening . . . I told Dominik that it was probably scared and had gone to hide under the duvet (along with Alex . . . ) |
