Thanks for the pics Elaine - what beautiful country. Looks a lot further than 8 miles around the Loch. I have not explored much of Scotland, apart from staying at St Andrews when a friend of mine was up at uni there and a Christmas at Applecross - saw a golden eagle there!

Good luck for the walk in April - I have sponsored you! Look forward to seeing you and Erin in your cat costumes!

I think I've been there Elaine. Is there a hotel called something like (excuse ridiculous spelling) The MuickRack? If so, I've def. been there

I have no idea Hilary, I havent heard of it but there may be one in near by Ballater or Aboyne.

Ooooh now that looks lovely but you'd need to treck across the caingorms to get to Loch Muik from there.
