Nice that you could share these lovely photos Leesy. What a heartwarming story too. Bless you Zara and play free of all pain now.

Thanks for the lovely pictures and recounting the story of Zimba - that is so touching that Zara suckled him . . . I hope the sense of loss gets better for you soon and you can remember her without so much pain.

Belated sympathetic thoughts - I hope you are feeling a little less raw by now. It's like losing a limb, isn't it?

Re: R.I.P. Darling Zara.

I had quite an emotional evening last night as I recieved a phone call from the vets to say that we could go through to pick up Zara`s ashes as they were now ready for collection.
Ithought I was very composed until I actually got there and went inside and was presented with her ashes , I am afraid as I got to the car with her ashes that are in a beautiful box with a lovely card and engraved plaque I couldn`t contain myself, I could hardly see the road to get home.
It just didn`t seem right to be fetching her home in a box like that

So sorry to hear this, been there a few times myself. 15 is a great age and at least you were able to stop any more suffering. ((hugs)) x
