Oh Hilary, I am so very sorry. (((hugs))) It is never easy is it?

I can understand your emotions, sad, yet in a way relieved. You know she had a great life with you and you let her go with dignity and spared her further suffering, I'm sure she would thank you for that.

Good Lord been elsewhere today yet at home. I am sorry Hilary, yet like you relieved she is not suffering. It is sad but also a relief isn't it.

So sorry to read this, she was such a gracious looking girl and it doesn't matter what age...it is still such a shock to have to say goodbye. I've done it 3 times in the last year with William being a real shock, all you can do is treasure those you have left and appreciate every minute with them.
