Re: Sunday thread

I love Goose fat Roasties too.... They are so much crispier.

Kazz what else would they be interrested in seeing while they are there? What food do they like? May be able to reccommed a few good places. such as Blundell St, right by where they are staying. They do food and entertainment evenings, (http://www.blundellstreet.com/)

Re: Sunday thread

Hi, all! Cool, wet and horrid on this side of the Pond also as predicted; rain will continue thru tomorrow night! Dashed out in the rain to rescue the newspapers and plan on staying indoors all day with papers, crossword and Catsey. Leia didn't even want to go on the porch; it's 13 degrees so the heat isn't on so she can't nap on the radiator, poor baby! Ham and cabbage tonight for me. Those of you with sun, enjoy! I miss beef roasts, but not practical for a single person; do love a roast chicken however with roast potatoes, yum!

PL: "National Flea Week"? Eliminating them, not celebrating them, I hope...

Re: Sunday thread

Warm and sunny here today - it's beautiful! Had a late start, went to Laura Ashley and bought a coffee table (25% off sale) been to pick my Mum up who'll be sitting Domi for a couple of days. She's now walking Myshka around the garden on a lead whilst supervising the boys and I'm doing them roast veg n cous cous for dinner. OH is digging the rest of my plants into the front garden, and later it'll be stuffed, roast peppers for dinner (stuffed with mushroom, onion and quinoia).

That's it in a nutshell . . . must dash and see what chaos is ensuing in the garden Oh, and feeling a bit better today. Still got a headache and sore throat but don't feel quite so washed out.

Oh Yola, could you get some pics of that? We have so few "cats on leads" pics; it would be lovely to see him!

I'll do my best Eileen. It'll have to be tomorrow now, weather permitting (it's raining now)!

Ah I understand! Yes they are special aren't they - just a special occasion for me when I use the goose fat, otherwise it's Flora oil as I said, but they still turn out nice and crispy, but don't have that depth of flavour!

Hope everyone enjoyed their Sunday, roasts or not!!!
