I loved your little promise you made to her. Bless her little cotton socks, she's been living rough & now she will want for nothing.
Didn't notice any trumpet-trousers here, but to be honest, I wouldn't really in the pen. She's been with a fosterer for a while & she never mentioned anything to me. She was on R/C dry & Iams dry and felix wet food. It may be a case of trial & error with her food until you find out what makes her windy. Anyway a little fart never hurt anyone.... Better out than in as my Nanny Gerrard used to say.

Poor little girlie now is quite runny and still smells very bad. Her foster mother did tell me that wet food made her runny, so she was just on Iams dry. She started farting at Winchester, so before we got her here and before she'd eaten anything.

I will phone my vet and see if I can get her seen. She doesn't seem to have a sore tummy and is still willing to have her tummy stroked and it doesn't cause her discomfort. May of course just be the upset of travelling and strange place. She is reacting to noises - eg. footsteps cause her to act fearfully, she crouches down and scuttles to one of her hidey-holes. When she finds out the footsteps belong to me or OH, she is fine again.

Angie, lovely to read you've got little Kizzy back home. It must be a great comfort to you to have 4 furry feet back in your home again.

Not such good news about the tum. I would suggest it's just stress . . . maybe try her on something bland for a bit?

Hi Angieh and Kizzy. What a lovely girl she is. Such a pretty face and looks very alert.

I do hope her 'tummy' is due to strange food, places, the travelling, etc.

She sounds as if she has decided her warmestr sleeping place is beside both of you.

I hope she continues to settle in and look forward to seeing lots of pics of the lovely Kizzy.

I am hoping that her "runs" this morning got rid of whatever was bothering her. We have had no "trumpet trousers" since!

I am taking her to the vet on Thursday for her first jab. She is otherwise fine.
