Talking of 'old' money I remember the hlaf penny piece and the times you could buy 10 sweets for 5p, I also remember the £1 note I must have been about 7 or 8 when they went out of circulation.

i used to get one in a birthday card off my nan every year can u see getting away with 50p in a card now LOL

The Tooth Faerie used to come see me (whilst I was asleep of course) during my childhood, on appropriate occasions. But I think she must have become disappointed in me when I had a tooth pulled at the dentist's, because she never visited me again.
