Do Parrot fishes tend their young, or are they cannibalistic?

They look after them DM, as soon as one gets out of the pot, they scoop them up in their mouths and put it back in.....very protective of their young..

So, in effect, you're sort of sitting on a pot of gold in that tank?! Would the fish store buy some of them back....that's an awful lot of Parrot fishes if most of them survive !!

Maybe they're precocious and just smallfor their age, Dawn...those baby Parrots came from somewhere, and not from the cabbage patch...
