Re: Spayed

I may not be remembering rightly, but the check up visit and stitch removal was included in the price. It certainly was in the case of Merlin's op to have his cyst removed - a bigger procedure I know.

Re: Spayed

Maybe I'm being too cynical. Going to the vet is such a horrifying ordeal for them that I suppose it's wishful thinking on my part to hope to avoid one more trauma.....

Re: Spayed

Our vets don't charge for post op checks or stitches out.

Re: Spayed

I think it's all included

Pre-check, full blood test, antibiotic shot, chipped, claws clipped and stitch removal £118.

I was surprised, i thought it'd be alot more, given the aftercare etc...

I guess cali might be a bit picky eating with the collar, but i think the shape/height of her bowls had more to do with it!
She was fine drinking / visiting the tray - and that was the most important thing.

First day with it off today, it's been like a day at the races, thundering around at 100mph! had to pop it back on for half an hour to remind her she's not long post-op!

Here she is, collared! The buster collar proved more effective though !
I remember you love pics, dandysmom ,so here goes she didn't want to smile for the camera though! ...
