He is simply gorgeous, Alex. GSD's are intelligent and very trainable, and he is such a handsome chap! I have 3 large dogs and cats and never had a bit of bother, all live happily together. Well done for changing him from Bakers worst food for dogs ever in my opinion! |

No disrespect meant to your lovely Ranger, Alex, but GSDs are the sort of dog that I've always been wary of. That said, I have known one that was as soft as fudge and completely trustworthy ..... just following on from Eileen's post about scary dog really. Interesting about Baker's food. Just sent off for a free sample. What would you consider the best dog food? Or should we start a new thread??? |

As Kim has said, the fact that Bakers is a veritable rainbow of food set of warning bells for me, but have recently read that Beta isn't much better tbh. However as he has taken the change to that well and his 'business' much better already, then he can remain on that for a month or two then we'll look for a higher quality food for him He's just had a mad half hour running round the garden, protecting his lovely big stone that he found lol, and is now konked out under the window  As for big dog issue, I would never in a month of sundays have thought I would end up with a GSD. No worries about aggressiveness, as if they're well trained, like any dog, then there should be no probs. It's just the sheer size he's going to be!!! A wee dinky dog would have been soooooo nice  , but tbh, no way would I part with him now. He's my big cuddly baby. |
