Re: Small break-thru with Onyx

I could try that, although she rarely comes to the front yard, and I doubt if the ice and snow is really bad that she'll venture out of where she holes up to stay out of the elements...... If I'm off line for a bit, means no power; not to worry. I wish I had a laptop, could run it on batteries like I do the radio..

Re: Small break-thru with Onyx

Thanks, Mags! I know if a regular just vanishes, people do wonder...and with any luck we won't have any downed trees or power lines; could be worse: those people in upstate New York have had over seven feet of snow....

I'll keep everything crossed for you Eileen that the really horrible weather isn't as bad as predicted. Hope to see you on here tomorrow!

Re: Small break-thru with Onyx

Alex, you could build a snow regiment if your fingers didn;t freeze first! The most snow we've ever had here at one time in my memory was 16 inches...when I finally dug out the front walk it reminded me of pictures of the WWI trenches!! But got a snow day out of it, woo hoo...was long before I retired! The City was paralyzed; even our rotten bosses couldn't get in....
