We (I) have named the new cat Dumpling, she's not far off the state Pudding arrived in. My concern is that I don't think she is hyperthyroid ( her coat is lovely and her general bloods were fine), so I'm worried it's something more sinister that has brought her to this state, and I want to know before I give her to Mike's sister, I don't want the expense and heartbreak of a terminal cat to go to her.
Anyway, she's got a gaunt old cat face but her colouring is unusual- she has a tabby face, a tortie body and a silver tabby tail- although that may chance if she improves. Donald was very unusual when he arrived, he was grey with brown tabby marking but has now gone completely grey so I wOnder if it is something to do with malnutrition!

Farthing, she sounds like a torbie to me: tabby face, chest, legs tail and tummy, brindled tortie coat? Any chance of a pic of the old sweetie?
