Just spoken to the vet, Fifi's temperature is down and has been normal since yesterday but she hasn't been eating so something is still obviously not right. The on-call vets based at the practice had been syringe-feeding her but stopped yesterday afternoon as she threw up rather a lot  Her regular vet has said she will probably need to stay in for a couple more days but as she is now going to be monitored carefully it means they will be able to assess progress a little better. I'm to call again this afternoon for updates . . . |

I'm very glad her temperature is normal again - that's good news. Hope she starts eating again soon. Plenty of healing vibes for Fifi and ((((HUGS)))) for you Yola. |

Good news about her temp. Lets hope with monitoring they can see how she is feeding and that it will givethem clues to cause and then treatment. Poor Fluffy Fi, I bet you just want to get in there and hug her better. Keep strong Yola, thinking of you xxx |

Some good news about the temperature; hope they can get her eating and on the road to recovery ... and back home with you. Poor little girl, she's had a rough time lately; and hard for you... it hurts so when they're sick and in pain |

Well, not the news I'd hoped for. Although she's tollerating a small amount of syringe feeding the vet says that she's much more lethargic again - much more like she was when she was taken in on Saturday. She's suspecting more and more that it is cat flu and whilst she says they have had cats in for a week or more which have recovered, her age is against her. We're off up to visit her at 5 . . . |
