Stroking wearing a rubber glove does a reasonable job. The Dyson Animal is great but a cheaper and more labour intensive version (work off those calories  ) is a rubber bristled brush - hand or broom). They are really efficient at pulling animal hair from carpet. I use one on the stairs rather than do battle with the vecuum and think it is actually easier and quicker. |

I use sellotape to get the cat hairs off my clothes. I brush my cat nearly everyday, but he still gets loads of knots! |
