My heart goes out to you and Bernie. I know you'll always do the right thing by him, but I know how it hurts. Everyone's right. Enjoy Bernie and take every day at a time. Best wishes |

Thankyou all so much, still a little shocked to be honest. Bernie is well for now, and that's the main thing. How long he remains to be well is any one's guess but as soon as he begins to show any signs of pain, illness or discomfort, G and I have agreed that we will let him go. Went to the pet shop and spent a small fortune on him, have cuddled him and soaked him with my self pitying tears, to the point he squirms out of my arms and looks at me with like I'm an over bearing woman, and maybe I am Anyhow, thankyou all for your support and kindness. I will keep you updated. |

Lovely photo of him, Elaine. I know you will love and spoil him for whatever time he has left. I know you feel so sad, understandably so, but nothing has changed for him, he doesn't know and will just live from day to day. |
