Re: Did it ever happen???

Isn't the www a great place for the conspiracy theorists?
Capricorn One was just a movie - quite a good one, but a movie nonetheless.

I just cant understand with the technology as it was back then how they could of done it.

Today they cant do it and we are SO more advanced.

Its just my personal thoughts - and the web is a great place to find out a lot of stuff - conspiracy or otherwise

Who says that Donna? The moon race was a commitment by Kennedy (I think) at the height of the cold war between USA and USSR. It cost billions - or probably trillions But US had committed to win the race ... that's what it was. All for glory/keeping face. The US could not have afforded to fail.
Now it's been there/done that. There's no further value .... which is why the shuttle and space station programmes continue but moon landings - nope.
(PS - Have you been to ?The Science Museum? and seen an Apollo return capsule? Worth seeing)

Re: Did it ever happen???

So answer me - why have so many people died mysterious deaths since the "moon landings" that were involved with it?

Do you think the governments tell us everything?? They lie to us EVERY DAY.

Answer 1 - I know nothing about this so can't answer, except 'don't know'
Answer 2 - absolutely they do (lie, that is, not tell us everything). So take care and concentrate on things that matter.
If there was a story to be told serious journalists (not National Enquirer etc) would have been onto it years ago.

Re: Did it ever happen???

We all have our opinions and views which is good for making the world go round - I just dont see it ever happened and there are too many questions unanswered to make me feel otherwise.

If someone could answer my questions then maybe I would feel differently!

Re: Did it ever happen???

My last post on this subject Donna - not something I'm very interested in, tbh, even if these few posts make it seem like it. If I was sitting with you now I'd be saying, yeah well, about that dress for your xmas 'do'.....
But ..... just think. If you were a government, engaged in goodness knows what -like ridiculous wars, 'reconstruction', where you bleed the invaded country dry, 5% of the world's population taking 25% of the world's resources, umpteen children dying daily in the 3rd world for the lack of basics - would you want people questioning those ..... or pursuing a theory that the moon landings and associated space exploration were faked?

Re: Did it ever happen???

I am not that bothered about it really, but just wanted to hear everyone's views.

Not sure what your last post means except that you think there are far more important things to think about???

And whats my christmas party got to do with any of this??

Was meant to be a light hearted topic - didnt realise my post had caused offence.

Donna, your post hasn't caused offence and I certainly don't think DM was offended by it.

Re: Did it ever happen???

Me - offended? - NO!
Donna ..... yes - I do think there are more important things, but that doesn't mean people shouldn't do frivolous things too.
Governments do a lot of bad things. Campaigners should look at them, rather than space ships (IMO)
Your xmas dress was me attempting to change the subject.
I love that we talk about all sorts on here - please don't ever think I will be upset.

Bloody printed word ....sometimes you can't add the right meaning
