I feel sorry for the poor cat - and don't know how they can say it is healthy, esp if it can't do certain things by itself. Am sure 33lb works out around 15kg (2.2lb to a kilo) - Tom was nearly 9kg, and he looked bad enough - although did have shiny fur and could scale up and down a 6ft bed (very quickly dismantled, I was concerned about the effect on his joints, as he jumped the last 2-3ft!!) and was playful. Did measure his waist once, can't remember properly but could have been 20 something - was a lot more than the 'normal' weight cats.
