Cheddar seems to be the most popular cheese in most fridges! I also always have shredded mozzarella there for pizzas and some soup recipes......oh, and for leeks...

I love parmesan cheese, wonderful on soup and all Italian dishes..

I keep the Parmigiano Reggiano in the freezer also...cooking for one you don't use it up fast enough before it gets hard .....
