Sorry to hear about Balie's suspected IBS Yola, hoped it would be less serious than that . Oh dear, our pampered pusses go the whole hog don't they! Hopefully it will all settle down with the meds. His weight loss is a concern though, ( * sorry I read that wrong in your post... ignore me, its me age) Posh's last weight check was 3.2Kg and she's never been more than 3.5, skinny little thing under her fur. I've put her on high calorie supplement, Hills A/D pate food, just to bulk her up a bit. Hugs and loves for my boy, from us both xxx |

Well, he's not thrown up. And he's had a 'normal' poo! I couldn't sleep so spent 1/2 hour with him in the early hours, cuddling him and placing him in the litter tray and hand-feeding him (which I did again this morning). He was sat on one of his towels which I noticed was wet . . . the daft old thing had only peed on it and was sitting in it Poor old boy. Nette - his optimal weight, on the vet's system shows 4KG . . . so he's well short of that. |

Glad he seems a little better Yola, hopefully you can get some weight back on his old bones. How old is Baile now? This has been a very worrying year for Catsey members and their kitties. xxx |

Yola, you sound like you are having panic attacks and lack of sleep will cause them, so with us ladies of a certain age we are in a lose-lose situation. At least Balie got some extra loves, as for poor Sebi, my bro was a long time bedwetter, but it did stop. The doc said he was so deep in REM sleep that he was too into his dream to wake up! I know Posh was < 3Kg when she came to us but since her dental work she is still short of 3.5 Kg, she gets plenty of food though and is not the most active cat so I think this 3.2 must be ok for her. I'd like a few more grams of flesh on her though around her hips & shoulders but it goes on her belly... just like a woman! |

Only just caught this and Yola I hope it sorts itself out, I wonder if it is caused by continual sickness.....or maybe a ulcer or something in his tummy...with it being tender. Hope it resolves itself....or the vet can. |
