What about a Twinkle Ball? Only costs £3.50 from:-

under the heading "playing".

It glows in the dark, is made from soft quiet material and is designed for nighttime play.

Love the mat!.. but I settled for some battery operated flickering plastic 'tea lights' (3 for £1.25 at my local pound shop). Just testing one out and I like them, it chills the kids AND their mum out. Rest time is as important as play time...

Hi Florasmum, yes the Cat Gallery is excellent. Cat toys seem to be pretty robust. Have bought from them previously and also visited their shop a couple of years ago when I was in York.
