Compared to a lot of other forums I'm a member of I do find Catsey forum is very strict, and it has some issues with how rules are policed. I also find the advertising very annoying. Think the forum software could also do with an update as well, looks dated.

Found it thru' Google search.

Love the variety of the forum sections. There really isn't anything you cannot discuss here.

Most importantly - the people are really nice and very helpful. There is always someone who has knowledge or ideas to help.

Like a lot of you I enjoy hearing all about each others cats and enjoy seeing pics etc. Love that I can include my other animals too.

Also like the quizzes and pics comps.

All in all a great forum wih really nice, genuine, helpful people.

Great thread!! I followed RCR onto Catsey Thank goodness for that! Catsey is a dream compared to the other cat website I was on...there were just too many people & the people were not as friendly. It doesn't compare to the quality of Catsey!

Catsey may be a small online community but it is a wonderful one! You are all so friendly Catsey is my # 1 cat website & its the people that make it that way & of course I love seeing all the different types of beautiful kitties we all have as well! Plus you can get to know each other more because there are not as many people. Catsey rules!

I have to agree with everyone else..
I found catsey through a google search when trying to find out information about amputations.. and the amount of advice, care and friendship i received since joining has been amazing...and that was to a complete newbie.. i look forward to a long relationshp with catsey and the people i have met on here.
to give an example.. the very first message i posted on catsey i also posted a variant of it on a couple of other cat forums at the same time to see what responses i would get... catsey was the only one that replied
We all obviously love our pussy cats very much... and it's very comforting to know that when you ask a question the answers that are coming are from people just like you... that have a great love for their fur babies and have an understanding of how your're feeling as a result of the situation that you find yourself in.. cause lets face it... I think it's fair to say that we all lose the plot a little when our babies are not well ..

I have even been described by my friends and family as a "cat-a-holic".. as i LOVE cats in all shape and forms.. i even take pictures of cats when i am on holidays.. both here in australia and overseas.. so i feel that in this group i have found some other cat-a-holics as well!

I found you all in a moment of crisis too. Never had a cat before and took in Posh from my doorstep. Got by as best I could then DISASTER! the stargazer lily poisoning on New Year's Day, 2008...
I was a new member, joined just days before from a Google search. Happened to mention on the forum about Posh vomiting and the brown stains on her mouth and the fact she'd nibbled the flowers and THANK GOD you all rallied around and got me to the vet, and she's here to tell the tale!
I can't thank you all enough;Kelly, Alex, Elaine,Angie, Mags, DM usa &uk,..Yola... if not for you!
Since then I've made great cyber pals in many of you.(Moofster where ya gone?)
