I think they were chrysantemums (sp), the lower leaves were getting a bit dry whilst the flowers were still fine, and it was these crunchy leaves that Fi was munching. As far as I know these aren't toxic . . . I've stopped buying lillies for that very reason.

I'm always wary when I have blooms in the house...I never have lillies now It's such a shame 'cos I love to have flowers in the house
