I bought a tin of goose fat today ready for the Christmas roasties It is quite expensive though isn't it! |

Yes Mags it is quite expensive I think I pay about £2.99 per tin. When I cook for just the two of us I only use half a tin. I also use it a couple of times as well, mind you last time I cooked roasties in it the potatoes just seemed to suck up all of the fat They were lovely and crispy though, and I find goose fat very very light so they don't seem to be very greasy  |

I paid about £2.99 as well Emma. Can't wait to try it out at Christmas....I've got 7 for Christmas dinner and I'm not going to mention the goose fat until after......just to see if anyone notices anything different! Yes I got it in Sainsburys....can't say I had ever noticed before you mentioned it! |
