Sad news. The nest is empty. I had noticed that the parent birds weren't around over the weekend; I can't see into the nest from my yard but Chris can from his porch. He was away for the weekend but checked this morning and no babies. They were too young to have left; I suspect it was the horrible heavy downpours recently. Or perhaps a crow.  |
