Did I tell you of my daughter's cat who kills squirrels? The neighbourhood is practically squirrel-free! The neighbours all love him

I am green with envy!! What a wonderful cat...don't suppose he's sired any kittens; I'd pay a fortune for a squirrel killer!!!

Re: Some garden pics .....

My Oz had a couple of brushes with squirrels when he was younger they all died. But he also hunted and killed, rabbits (luckily as far as I know only wild ones) rats, mice, birds of all sizes from crows to wrens, fish, voles. Basicly anything that crossed his path was fair game.

Yeah I look back fondly now but its no joke having a dead magpie on your chest when you wake up or worse a half live one. Never been bother to much by the birds but started to get "aggrivated" when he brought me a whole darned litter of dead rats. plus Mommy and Daddy rat.

It was the live ones that got me more I think he thought I was an over excited hunter. he just used to watch from the wardrobe or worktop high viewing points were his thing especially if the "gift" was alive enough to run I swear he was almost marking me out of 10 on my ability to catch said animal.
Usually I failed but he soon got the gist that if I opened the window/door his "catch" coould/may escape and then killed it himself.
