Re: Iams

therea rea a lot of cat food companies that test that we are not always made aware of.
Also stuff we may knw more about like cosmetics etc.

too much of it going on.
Wouldnt it be nice to get hold of the "scientists" lock them up in cages and do these tests on them!

Re: Iams

I think that Burns is excellent food and I would recommend it 100%! I have met Mr Burns a couple of times at Crufts and he was a great person and really cares about animal welfare.

I would never, ever feed Iams/Eukanuba. I saw a video of secret filming at the uncaged stand at the Supreme Cat Show a few years back and I was absolutely appalled. Although other companies, such as Pedigree do testing, I think it is acknowledged that Iams is the most cruel and invasive. If anyone is interested take a look at http://www.iamscruelty.com/ which is a PETA site.

Re: Iams

Been out to various pet shops in my area and cannot find Burns cat food anywhere. I will just have to wait until my online order arrives.

Re: Iams

I thought that JWB was ok, even tho it is on the list in reply #10 the general consensus on dogpages was that the owners of the company have other products which are tested on animals but JWB is still made by the original manufacturers so it is exempt from the list (still lining the pockets of the owners tho )

So, appart from burns, jwb and autarky, which other foods are ok?
