It's gone a bit yukky now. Well it seems ok & is not hurting, but it's gone quite a dark red colour. She is worried about going to school, so I'm going to see her teacher this morning before I go to work - just to explain what happened. |

Thanks for all your kind words. The burn happened last Friday & on Monday started to blister now it's gradually all starting to blister it looks awful & she is in a lot of pain with it now. We are having daily trips to either the nurse / doctor / hospital for advice / medication / bandaging. She has been to the hospital this evening to have it dressed there & they have given us some bandaging stuff so we can dress it daily ourselves. The redness / blisters makes you go "ouch" just by looking at it. She is also uncomfortable in bed when it's not dressed. So we are going to keep it dressed for school. No dressing on it for a few hours after school to let the air get to it & then rebandage for bed. Poor little poppet. She's on antibiotics to stop any infection & is on pain relief too. |

Oh dear Smudgley, so sorry to hear it is worse than at first thought It must be awful for her in bed I hope she starts to feel better soon.......sending her big (((hugs))) |

Thanks Fran. I think she does feel a bit better tonight now the pain relief is kicking in & we feel better now it has been looked at & dressed again. |
