we watched the match in oe of the large bars on holiday! on my goodness, i have never watched a footy match anywhere other than in my home before. The atmosphere was mental! everybody in red and white, hats on, flags as capes, beers (of course) hooters, inflatable hands. They were dancing around the bar, around the dance floor, in one door out another, ON the bar, singing, cheering. it was great. the kids were getting a little bored by near the end. Until rooney came on, then it was constant " ROONEY< clap clap clap, ROONEY, clap clap clap" until "GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLL LLLLLLL" and various hugging, jumping around, yelling screaming, shouting, hooters, dancing... somuch so they almost missed the second goal cos were still celebrating the first one. It was great, and If i can make it to another family frinedly bar for any future games i will be! |

am shocked and ashamed of some england supports they are slagging off england becasuse of yesurday match saying that england are rubbish playing....  maybe if they supported them and stop calling them it may help! England just need confidence and support from its fans thats it am swimming to germany if I hear one more england fan complain over there....! Wish I was there I wouldnt stop singing and cheering for them!Come on lads you can do it!!!!! *shakes fists* DONT MAKE ME COME OVER THERE!!! |

no slagging off in the bar i was in, and we were in wales!!!!! I couldnt get over the atmosphere, adults and kids alike, it was fantastic. I have some piccies of the kids dressed up from the previous match, will post tomorrow for you jem! |
