Lovely shot, Emma! I'm surprised to see yuccas growing outdoors in the UK...they are native to our southwestern states. I'm beginning to think that I am misinformed about how cold it gets there in the Winter...didn't think a desert plant would survive! The interesting things I've learned on CP!! They are as tough as an old boot: yucca is a plant I don't particularily like; when I bought my house there was one in the garden which I promptly dug up...it came back from a root I must have missed...dug it up again...it came back...took 3 years to eradicate |

DM - funny you should say that!! The ones (variegated) I mentioned earlier in the thread have also re-appeared in the front garden from where I had originally transferred them. I've just given up now and let them grow as they're obviously happy there! |
