The things I'd miss are furballs, miowing in the early hours, the smell of cat food, the warmth as they snuggle down at night, the conversations!!! the cat hair on my clothes, the welcome I get when I come into a room, the cat trays, not going down the cat food aisle in supermarkets, being able to type without removing a cat from the keyboard, the fact I can eat a portion of chip shop fish without being mugged, putting a box down or picking one up without checking to see its empty of cat etc etc etc. |

The one thing I do not like about cat ownership is dealing with idiot neighbours threatening to kill or harm your cats just because they are scared or hate cats |

I suppose the only thingI dont really like is the fact that my body clock has changed so much since I started fostering that I am awake well before my alarm every day of hte week, and there ain't a lot of things you can do before 7am on a Sunday!! MAkes the days longer too. The losses are also hard, and there are times I dont like dealing with the trays (good tip, have extra per cat, then you can just give them a clean one, and put the dirty one to one side to clean later!!) |
